I started playing guitar at 12 years old, my father taught me. Little by little I
manage to play my first chords and songs. Two years later I entered the
group choruses and dances (Coros y danzas, folkloric association of Abanilla), when I had 14 years.

At the age of 16, I create my first band with my cousin Manolo Ramón; we use to play songs of the Beatles, etc…
We were called “The Jack Daniels”, with a drummer from Murcia city, we get the chance to play at the discotheque Allinaba as well as some others bars in the village like the well known by those days “Bar de las seís hermanas” and “Jose Luis’s bar” (Ezequiel uncle’s bar).

I was a guitarist in 1984 in a Murcian band called “Chicago blues”, with musicians such as Miguel Bañon (from the latter band “Los marañones”), Santiago Campillo (founder member of the famous murcian band “M Clan”) and Emilio Chicheri (Blues singer). With this line up we started to play gigs throughout the province of Murcia and the coast of Alicante. That was the beginning…

In 1989 I create a new band called “Los Bisontes”, with Santiago Campillo, Ginés de los Reyes and my friend Alberto, gigging in bars and ballrooms, in the Almeria area as well. With 5 songs composed in 1992, we recorded a demo in which several musicians collaborate. In 1994 a new member joins the band, Pedro (Bass player), a Blues and Jazz musician that has played with American Jazz musicians in several Jazz festivals here in Murcia and Valencia and most specifically in the “Black Note”, the famous ballroom from where TV2 (The second national Spanish TV channel) used to broadcast the famous TV program “Jazz entre amigos” (“Jazz In Between Friends”).

Comes as singer, in 1995, my sister Rosario until 2002, and we recorded live concerts and some more demos.
In 2003 join us as singer and harmonica blues and rock player, Carlos Felipe: we played with this band’s line up as first part for Robert Gordon concerts (American singer who was very famous in the'70s and'80s) with Jaime Urrutia, ex-member of  “Gabinete Caligari”, “los Rebeldes”, with "Crazy Cavan" (UK Rock n´roll band), in the first blues festival of Puerto Lumbreras in 2005 with Errol Linton's Blues Vibe in tribute to The Clash singer Joe Strummer.
In September 2000 I was invited to play with the Vargas Blues Band in the Blues Festival of Altea, and in this occasion we met Tins, a bass player who get the chance to play with James Brown, and made with him several concerts in Denia and Benidorm. I also met this musician called “Crazy”, a drummer settled in Benidorm that played when he was 20 in England with Slade….good musician…made some good gigs… playing with him several times in Benidorm but we’re starting softly.
 
Now the band´s line up are currently: Pedro Pastor (as Bass player since 1994), Tote Cánovas/ Antonio Velasco on drums, Andrew, an English singer that joins us last summer 2008, (he’s based in Cabo Roig) and of course…Me…, Claudio, at the lead guitar and screams… and the band was first named Claudio Blues Band but now Claudio Rock Band as well.
