Welcome to the Abanilla Local Band Network
JFM Radio believe Music and the performing arts connect youth with their culture through a common language crossing generational and social barriers.
The activities that a young person pursues influences the type of person he or she becomes. The experience that comes with participation in a performing arts organization builds discipline, character, pride, and self-confidence at a crucial age and forms the springboard to even greater achievements in adulthood.

Local Abanilla Band The Psychoskys
Abanilla local band The Psychoskys (pronounced as Dee Psychoskys) is made up of four great musicians that knew each other from previous Murcian bands, and it was their love of music from the Sixties that finally got them all together for the first time in May 2006, and they are still going strong today, regularly getting together for Jam sessions.
The Psychoskys are so passionate about the music from the Sixties & Seventies: they strive to use the same musical vintage instruments from this golden age of music, they even use a Fender Amp from the 1964 and a "Matador" Farfisa Keyboard from the 1970s in the pursuit of recreating this great vintage sound.
JFM Radio asked Antonio what music influences The Psychoskys!
Antonio replied:
“We love both British & American music from the Sixties, like the Kinks, the Sonics and early Rolling Stones that plays a big part in our music, however we will also have influences from record labels Stax, Motown and Chess styles of musicâ€
“We added some new funky tunes at our last rehearsal, and with the help of Jaime on Trombone (he’s great!!!!) we have come up with a great new funky, soul soundâ€
“The end result is a great mix of Rhythm & Blues and Dirty Acid Punk, great to shake your booty to"
