Established for more than 20 years (the official inauguration was the 5th of December 1989), the Lennon bar soon became the main focal point in Abanilla night life. The founding members, José Miguel Carrion y Pablo Mendez chose the name of the bar (Lennon) because they were fans of the musician. The Lennon´s bar is well known for sponsoring the football team of the same name, famous for its success in both regional league and 24 hours football tournament (Which is held in the second week-end of August in Abanilla).

 

 

Lennon´s Bar and restaurant is renowned for its succulent tapas (gambas al ajillo (Shrimps fried in garlic), “bocas de mar”, matrimonio (= “marriage”: a mix of anchovies and little sardines)) and “montaditos” (local bread with a variety of toppings such as Spanish bacon, salmon, “sobrasada”, sausages, cheese etc…).

 

But not only this…for the hungrier of us, sandwiches, hamburgers and pizzas are also available...hummmm that sounds good!

 

 

Open on week-ends, Friday starting at 21.00h, Saturdays and Sundays at 15.30h.
